Cutesy Pics of The Day!

Shabbat March 15th at Sundown - El Paso, Texas

The Messianic covenant is the last covenant which has been given and brings to fruition the promises in the previous covenants to Israel, Yahweh God's firstborn "son", in and through Y'shua our Messiah. Through it, the partakers of the covenant have imparted to them a new nature whereby they are enabled to walk in covenant relationship and fulfill the original mandate given to Adam. Hebrews 8: 7-10

Although it does not annul the covenant made through Noah for all mankind apart from Israel, it opens the door for the Gentiles to be grafted in and to become a partaker of Israel's covenant blessings in a new way. This covenant is not unconditional, being dependent upon every individual to receive what God has offered.

Barukh attah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha-olam,

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life. - Yeshua

The Best Desert @ Disneyland!!! Pineapple Dole Whip (How To)

Our family is planning a trip to disneyland this year in late summer (as we go every year) and I want to start the celebration NOW! Sorry if I sound like a little girl but I loveeee everything Disney. So before we make our 14 hour car ride to Disneyland, California, we can at least enjoy a little piece of happiness at home.

If you go to Disneyland any time soon, the Dole soft serve stand is right before you get to the Tiki Room attraction (talking birds).

I came across this recipe while going though youtube Disneyland videos and I am so excited to try it! I will be posting photos of the final result soon.

3-Ingredient Dole Whip
*makes 6 cups

Ingredients:

3 cups pineapple sherbet, softened
1 (8 ounce) tub Cool Whip or other non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
4 tablespoons pineapple juice, chilled

Optional:
8-10 drops yellow food coloring

Directions:

Place 3 cups of the softened pineapple sherbet into a blender. Scoop the entire contents of the tub of whipped topping into the blender. Add the pineapple juice. You can add the food coloring if you like but it is not necessary. Blend on high for 1 minute. Turn off and remove from motor. The whipped topping will remain on top so take a long utensil and fold it into the sherbet on bottom. Now replace the lid and blend again for another minute. Remove and mix by hand one last time. The mixture should now look like a yellowish milk shake.

Take a gallon-size freezer bag and place it into a large cup or bowl. Fold back the edges so you have a wide mouth to pour into. Begin pouring the Dole Whip into the freezer bag, making sure to scrape the sides of the blender. Seal the bag and place in freezer for 2 1/2 - 3 hours until firm but not solid. It should have a soft-serve texture. Remove from freezer and snip off 1 1/2-inch from one of the bottom corners of the bag creating an opening to squeeze out the Dole Whip. Twist the top portion of the bag like it was a cake icing bag and begin squeezing the Dole Whip into your serving cup or dish. Just like soft-serve, right?

If you'd like to turn it into a Dole Whip Float, simply add some of the chilled pineapple juice to your cup of Dole Whip. Serve with a spoon or straw and a tiny umbrella. Now dig in!

*Tip: If you freeze the Dole Whip for longer than 3 hours it will become solid, to return it to the soft-serve stage simply thaw it on your counter for a bit just like you would for a tub of Cool Whip.

Bringing Baby Home

Bringing Brielle home was a JOY! She was rarely fussy and slept a lot. My first daughter Soleil, is four years older than her little sister. We had finally gotten out of the pull-ups when we found out we were expecting again. Now, it was time to start all over but it's so worth it. God really knew what he was doing and our new little miracle was exactly what He wanted for our family. I am so grateful that I was able to have a good pregnancy and that I recovered quickly. Brielle is the calmest, happiest, baby I have ever known! She literally does not cry. I see a peace and tranquility in her that I have never really known before. Being blessed with another daughter has been a great gift from God and I am eternally thankful.
