Bringing Baby Home

Bringing Brielle home was a JOY! She was rarely fussy and slept a lot. My first daughter Soleil, is four years older than her little sister. We had finally gotten out of the pull-ups when we found out we were expecting again. Now, it was time to start all over but it's so worth it. God really knew what he was doing and our new little miracle was exactly what He wanted for our family. I am so grateful that I was able to have a good pregnancy and that I recovered quickly. Brielle is the calmest, happiest, baby I have ever known! She literally does not cry. I see a peace and tranquility in her that I have never really known before. Being blessed with another daughter has been a great gift from God and I am eternally thankful.

A Celebration of Life

Gather 'round and celebrate the joy that has been given.
A gift of love - of flesh and blood.
A tiny bit of heaven.
See the wonder of it all, and marvel at the sight, Share the happiness we know, celebrate the life.
Make memories of the times to come, of hours and days and years. Mark down each step, each task, each word - the laughter and the tears.
For a celebration of life is such, that one must never be In too big a hurry to stop and smell... to feel... to touch... to see.
Yes, gather 'round and celebrate the life that has been given, A gift of love - of hope eternal.
 Our tiny bit of heaven.

Brielle was born at 37 weeks because of complications with pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure. Dr. Martell started the induction at midnight and I requested the epidural at around 4 a.m. Brielle came into the world with 1 push (ehem, cough attack) at 9:19 AM.

One Last Time....

I photographed my little girl Soleil Paris at 36 weeks pregnant. We went to the park in a hot fall day and we could only withstand about 15 minutes of the heat! As I wobbled my way to the park, I realized that these were the last photos I would take of my little girl before she was to become a big sister... xoxo
